Yes. To fly in the MX2 , you must have at least a Recreational or Sport Pilot license. Flying our MX2 aircraft is one of the best ways for someone to become introduced to the world of aerobatics. For even brand new pilots, our FAA certified pilots will be in complete control of the airplane, and whenever you are the one flying, they will still be monitoring the controls should you find yourself in a position where you do not know what to do.
YES! In fact, we encourage you to take a camera so that you can take as many pictures as you like. People often request to fly over their homes so that they may take pictures of it, and we are more than happy to accommodate them. We do not, however, allow cameras on flights that involve any aerobatic or "stunt" flying because there is a possibility that a loose object (such as a camera) would damage something inside of the cockpit.
CAN MORE THAN ONE PERSON FLY AT A TIME?
Unfortunately our MX2 only has enough room for the pilot and one passenger. There are no exceptions to this rule. (Small children may NOT "double up")
WILL I ACTUALLY GET TO FLY REAL STUNTS?
YES! We have a wide range of packages which let you do everything from sit back and enjoy the view, to take the controls and learn how to perform different high-performance maneuvers. These usually include things such as loops and rolls.
WHAT IF I GET SICK DURING MY RIDE?
Flying stunts for the first time can sometimes be a little upsetting. Though this does not usually happen during our half-hour rides, it is a possibility as your body will be experiencing forces that it does not normally encounter. If you should feel upset, then you can choose to either terminate your flight at any time, or you can ask the pilot to stop flying aerobatics for a moment and just fly straight and level. This is usually enough to allow the passenger to feel better again, and allow the ride to continue. Rides that are terminated due to passengers becoming upset, however, will not be refunded.
DO YOU HAVE A NO-SHOW POLICY?
Yes. All reservations not canceled 24 hours before the flight will be charged in full. There are no exceptions.
